2Open Tenant administration > Tenant status

The service release number uses a YYMM convention: 2606 means the June 2026 release, 2502 the February 2025 release, and so on. Intune feature releases follow a sprint cadence of roughly six to eight weeks from planning to release, and Microsoft deploys each release in a phased approach - first to internal environments, then progressively to customer tenants, with the admin center itself updated once tenants are done. That is why your tenant can legitimately show a release one behind the latest announcement, and why two tenants you manage may briefly show different numbers. Tenant administration is missing from the left navigation
Warning
Cause: Your account does not hold an Intune role with access to tenant-level administration.
Ask a Global Administrator or Intune Administrator to assign you a suitable Intune role, then sign out and back in.
A feature from the release notes is not visible in your tenant
Note
Cause: Releases and individual features roll out in phases, so your tenant may not have received the update yet, or the feature is rolling out gradually within the release.
Compare your Service release number with the release the feature shipped in, allow a few days for the phased rollout to complete, and watch the message center for tenant-specific notices.
Your tenant shows an older release than the one just announced

Cause: Microsoft deploys each monthly release progressively across customer environments; the What's new page is published when the rollout starts, not when it finishes.
This is expected behavior. Re-check the Tenant details tab after a few days; if the version does not change for several weeks, open the Service health tab to check for known issues.
